The shirt is open at the sides, so it hangs in two long panels front and back and the skirt shows through the gap as you move. Muqesh work runs across the shirt alongside other handwork, the metal thread pressed flat into the cloth so the gold reads as line rather than as sparkle. The lehenga is banarasi, woven rather than printed or embroidered, and that weave is where the weight and the sheen in the skirt come from. Wear it to a mehndi, a wedding or a sangeet. The shirt is cut long and loose with open side seams from the hip down, so it never sits close to the body, and the lehenga carries all of the volume underneath it.

You choose your piece, pick your delivery date, and the outfit arrives cleaned and pressed in a garment bag. Rentals run 4 days. Your delivery date has to be at least 5 days from today so we can prepare, press and ship the piece to you. When your event is over you repack it in the same bag and drop it off using the prepaid return label. You never clean it yourself.
