WearWali gives back
Every rental carries something forward
2% of profits donated. One figure, one basis — a share of profit, not of revenue, so the number means what it says.
Where it goes
Our giving is directed at two things: schooling for girls in the regions our pieces come from, and steady, fairly paid work for the artisans whose embroidery and handwork make those pieces worth keeping in circulation.
How the maths works
We calculate the contribution on profit after costs across each trading period, then transfer it to the partner in place for that period. We publish the partner's name here so you always know who is receiving it.
Renting is part of it
Every garment we rent instead of sell once is worn many times rather than sitting unworn after a single celebration. Keeping occasionwear in circulation is the quiet half of the giving.
